Our Summer Clinic Special Guests!
We are excited and pleased to announce our Special Guests that will be speaking at our EFF summer Clinic! They are STEPH CATLEY, JODIE TAYLOR AND BRI DAVEY!
We are so lucky to have these four incredible Female role models for the Elite Female Footballers to look up to and aspire to become. They will bring a wealth of sport and life experience, knowledge and passion to the girls at our clinic. Steph, Jodie, Bri and Ash are all humble athletes that know what it takes to become Elite in their field.
Steph Catley, a left fullback, has 67 caps for the Westfield Matilda's and is captain of Melbourne City FC in the W-League. She has won the Australian W-League Championship four times. She has played for Portland Thorns, Orlando Pride and Seattle Reign in the NWSL, playing along side the likes of Alex Morgan and Marta. Steph is not just an all round footballer but also an amazing, down to earth human that inspirers young females throughout the country.
Jodie Taylor is a striker for the England Women's National Team and was a key to Englands Bronze medal at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. She has 38 international appearances and a massive 17 goals. Jodie won the Golden Boot award at the Euro's in 2017, scoring 5 goals in only 4 games. She also was named English Women's Player of the Year in 2017. Jodie has played in numerous countries over her 15 years as a professional footballer including USA, Sweden, England and Australia. She is currently playing for Seattle Reign in the NWSL, and for Melbourne City FC.
Bri Davey is an ex footballer who played for the Westfield Matilda's, Melbourne Victory and Melbourne City. She switched codes in 2016 to pursue a dream of hers to play professionally in the AFL. In the inaugural AFL Women's League she played for Carlton FC, being named in the All-Australian team and won the clubs best and fairest award. Bri is a great influence for young females in Australia with a heap of experience in different sports.
